I love:
dreaming/shamanism/science/Jungian psychology/philosophy and studying the evolution of consciousness. Also cooking and eating very spicy food! Love dogs, and now cats - all animals, more than people sometimes. Well, I do enjoy small children, though they are EXHAUSTING.
Big surprise of adult life - after years of being single, I really enjoy being married! Who knew?!

Thanks. This does help. I suspect that the learning plan exercise is simply that... meaning that it is an exercise in making sure we have put some thought into how we will approach the program.

The first few months of the program have been amazing, but a major life adjustment for me.

Thanks. It has taken me a little longer to get to where my draft learning plan is ready to submit to Placida. As you mention, the learning plan is an evolving document. I also am endeavoring to learn the fine art of putting together contracts.

I forwarded my plan to Placida who I thought would have comments or initiate other disucssion but (I believe she was incredibly busy at that time) who submitted it as it was.

It was submitted as a draft, so I suppose that means it can be revised at any time, following the proper process, but I logged 3 credits for it, so that felt good!

Hopefully this is what you're referring to, but if I've got it wrong, please let me know. I still haven't turned in a contract, that's what I'm working on right now!

I am planning to talk with Placida later this month to review my draft learning plan. I believe that you shared a copy of your learning plan back in March or April, which was helpful to be able to see how you approached the plan and the planning. Did you have a chance to complete your review discussion yet? Any words of wisdom from your experience that might be helpful for me to be ready for the learning plan review conversation?

I actually have made my space a "virtual" one, in that given any area I am at, I make my studying home. So, if someone asks, what is my study spot, I say it's virtual. I allow flexibilty of style and mood into my studying. So, I decided on the virtual space as anything I want that works for me. I don't need a sense of order to adhere to I suppose. In any case, it works for me! :)

At 4:02pm on May 1, 2008, Cynthia said…: silvina, yes, i'm planning to be at summer session so i will see you there! i hear you about learning to manage the new schedule and added routine of schoolwork. i can turn my house from clean to "tornado" in minutes. it's astounding and not in a good way! still working on creating a space where i can put all my school books. our shelves are already very full. but that's life i guess!
