Congratulations to both you and your wife for bringing life into the world. Not only do you have a PhD journey, but, you have yet another journey to enhance your life as well!
All the best to you and yours and we definately hope to see you at Winter session!
Congratulations on your new arrival. I am glad to hear that you and your family are doing well.
As the father of two girls, I have no experience raising boys nor do I have any good parenting advice to share, but I do have many good wishes to send your way.
Not to mix metaphors, but it sounds like you have your very own applied project for human development.
After a grueling 39 hour labor, we welcomed Elliot Declan Matheny into the world on 6/18. We're still adjusting to having another member of our family, but we're all doing well!
I've decided to put 717 off until next year and focus on 702 and 703 instead.
Hope all is well with you and your family. By now, you must have the new addition to your family, how exciting! What are you up to? Drew and I just got back form the summer session. It was great!
Hope we get to see you at winter session!
Hope all is where with your family adventures and your 717 efforts.
I am jazzed to say that we have completed the last posting for DOCS. It was a great experience and I am happy to have earned my first 3 credits (learning plan completion and 753A to follow shortly).
I've slowed down as I worked to complete DOCS, begin putting the finishing touches on 753A with Margo, prepare for being off from work for several weeks and get ready to welcome a new addition to the family.
I did speak to my mentor, Keith Melville, about the KA. He recommended only contracting for one portion of the 717 KA at a time. I'm still hoping to get the KA open here in the coming weeks.
How are your efforts at putting together a 717 contract progressing? I am still pondering how to approach 717.
We are now in the 2nd to last week of DOCS. It has been a great learning experience, but I will be grateful to be down to one online seminar. Juggling two concurrent online seminars has been a challenge, even in terms of simple logistics.

New addition to the family is quite an undertaking even without PhD program.
I am in home stretch for DOCS and in midst of 702 overview and am looking at contracting fror in-depth part of 702.
Once DOCS is complete, I have to write 3 papers for 753 before I forget everything.
At Summer Session, I am planning to start Systems (703) KA so I will have several KA's open at once.
At the same time, Silvina and I someone signed up to give short presentation for Issues in Higher Ed at Summer Session.
No rest for the wicked.
